Quorum sensing activated promoter that responds natively to the Las pathway (activated by LasR + 3OC12HSL). This specific instance of this promoter has mutations on nucleotides 5 and 16 of the consensus sequence, which reportedly diminishes the crosstalk with the Lux system.
